  • The Human Resources program oversees employee recruitment, benefits administration, training, safety, wellness, personnel review and salary adjustments.

    The Town employs approximately 87 full-time benefited employees and 65 part-time non-benefited employees in a wide range of fields including administration, finance, planning, building, engineering, transportation, information systems, maintenance and recreation. Full-time, part-time temporary and seasonal positions exist for people of all ages and levels of education and experience.     The Human Resources program is committed to providing the Town of Danville and its citizens, a diverse, competent, trained and professional workforce. All Town employees are governed by the Town’s Personnel Policies and Procedures that have been reviewed and approved by the Town Council in a public meeting. The Town Council has also approved the title, job description and salary range of Town employees by resolution.

    Town employees work as a team and collectively are responsible for the success of the Town organization. Through working together effectively, Town employees strive to improve the quality of life and services for residents in the Danville community.
