• Crime Prevention

  • The Town of Danville strives to develop partnerships between the police and the community in efforts to continue to keep Danville safe.  How this is carried out is based on the needs of specific areas and neighborhoods throughout the town.

The mission of our Crime Prevention Unit is to develop, implement, coordinate and evaluate crime prevention efforts.  Our goal is to protect the citizens of Danville from crime victimization by anticipating and recognizing crime risk opportunity, while finding the appropriate action to eliminate the opportunity for crime.

Our Crime Prevention Unit is here to help our communities establish active Neighborhood Watch Programs, assist businesses and homeowners with preventing crime, and work with to address neighborhood issues and facilitate problem-solving methods.

We are here to work with the community to provide knowledge, valuable information and answer questions.
