  •  Roster Submission

Blank rosters are available for download on each sports league webpage.

Submitted rosters must contain a name, address, phone number and birthdate for each player in order to be considered "complete" and must include payment to reserve your spot.

Rosters may be dropped off at the Danville Community Center, 420 Front Street, or faxed to (925) 820-2782. Rosters submitted in person or faxed prior to 9:00 am on the appropriate registration date will not be accepted.

     Lottery Procedure
    1. Teams may submit their completed rosters on their appropriate registration date, resident or open registration. Rosters may be submitted via fax or in person.
    2. Completed rosters must contain names, addresses, phone numbers and birthdates of all players and be accompanied by full payment.
    3. Teams may select a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice league night.
    4. For each registration date, during the time block 9:00 am – 12:00 noon, each completed roster submitted with full payment will be assigned a lottery number.
    5. After noon, Town staff will conduct a lottery to determine team placement.
    6. Any rosters accepted after noon will be prioritized in the order received, following the lottery on that date.
    7. There will be one waitlist for all nights.
    8. If a team cannot be placed on one of its top 3 choices, the team will be called and asked to select another night or opt to be placed on the waitlist.
     Waitlist Procedure
    1. If a team cannot be placed on one of their preferred nights, the team will be placed on the waitlist.
    2. If a spot becomes available on any league night**, the first team on the waitlist will be called and offered the spot.
    3. If the team declines a spot off the waitlist, that team will remain on the waitlist, and the next team will be called.

** Softball teams may only be eligible for specific league nights according to their level of play.

     Residency Status Clarification

    Residency Status Clarification

For residents outside the incorporated Town of Danville limits:
Each quarter, the Town receives a number of questions regarding the residency status for individuals and families wishing to register for Town-sponsored programs and activities. Those living outside the Danville Town limits include residents of the communities of Alamo and Diablo, and the Bettencourt Ranch, Blackhawk, Bryan Ranch, Shadow Creek and Whitegate housing developments. In order to verify your residency in Danville, you can:

    1. Look up your street address in the index of the Thomas Bros. Guide; it will state Danville or Contra Costa County 94506 or;
    2. Review the information on your property tax bill.
    3. Check your residency status online.

The program and facility fees cover a large portion of the actual costs, though Town of Danville residents also partially support the classes, events and facilities through their property tax assessments. Because of this, those program participants and individuals reserving Town facilities who live outside of Danville pay an additional non-resident charge. If you have any questions about this information, please call 314-3400.
