Traffic concerns, including speeding, cut-through traffic, missing signs, traffic signal issues impact the quality of life in Danville.  If you would like to report a traffic signal malfunction or missing sign, please let us know.  For concerns about speeding and traffic issues in your neighborhood, the Town of Danville’s Neighborhood Traffic Management Program (NTMP) might be your solution.

Neighborhood Traffic Management Program

The Town recognizes that automobile traffic poses one of the greatest threats to the quality of life of its citizens. Recognizing the need for new and innovative techniques to address age-old neighborhood traffic issues, the Town Council directed staff to develop a Neighborhood Traffic Management Program (NTMP).

The Danville NTMP represents the Town's commitment to the safety and livability of its neighborhoods. It is a community-based approach to traffic calming. The program is designed to educate and empower residents with the tools to evaluate, develop, and implement traffic management solutions.

The NTMP provides a process for identifying, prioritizing, and dealing with problems related to traffic safety on local streets.
