The Hap Magee Ranch Dog Park will be closed until March 5, 2018 for the annual winter field moratorium which will allow the grass fields to "rest" and any major maintenance scheduled for the dog park to be completed.
During the normal usage season, the Canine Corral at Hap Magee Ranch Park is closed for maintenance every Tuesday until noon. This closure will allow maintenance work to be completed at the site while minimizing the impacts on the user groups. Tasks such as mowing, irrigation repairs, weed abatement, hardscape repairs and others will be conducted. This weekly closure will also allow the grass a day of rest which should extend the life of the turf to further enhance the usability of this area and maximize the experience for patrons of the dog park.
It is also closed during periods of inclement weather. Please call Dog Park Information (925) 314-3484 to learn of any closures.
