Shop local on “Small Business Saturday”

Many people tend to hit the malls on Black Friday looking for deals, but Danville residents are being encouraged to come out and shop local on “Small Business Saturday”.

The second annual national “Small Business Saturday” is being held on November 26, 2011 and is dedicated to supporting small businesses on one of the busiest shopping weekends of the year. Residents are encouraged to show their support for local business by dropping in at their favorite Danville business to purchase locally. 

Supporting the local economy not only helps business owners, but also helps the Town of Danville. A percentage of all sales tax revenue generated in Town stays in the community and is used for a variety of functions benefitting the residents of Danville.
