Work will begin on
the evening of February 8, 2012 on a crosswalk enhancement project in downtown
Danville.
The project will
install colored, stamped material to downtown crosswalks at the intersections
of Hartz Avenue and Prospect Avenue, Hartz Avenue and Church Street, Hartz Way
and Front Street, Railroad Avenue and San Ramon Valley Boulevard, Front Street
and Prospect Avenue, Rose Street and Linda Mesa, and a mid-block location on
Railroad Avenue near the Clock Tower parking lot.
Work will begin
this evening with some minor grinding work in the areas of Hartz Way and Front
Street, Railroad Avenue and San Ramon Valley Boulevard, and Railroad Avenue
adjacent to the Clock Tower parking lot and is expected to continue over the
next few nights. The stamping process
will begin on Monday February 13, 2012.
In the event of weather-related delays, the work will be scheduled after February 14, 2012.
Work will be
carried out between 9:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. to minimize any potential affect on
traffic. No full lane closures are
scheduled at this time.
